According to the Public Relations and Branding Unit of Aftab Oil Refining Company, Aftab High School (Ibn Sina) is the oldest and most famous school in Hormozgan province, which played an effective role in creating empathy between revolutionary forces.
The Aftab Oil Refining Company took care of this task in 2020, in the way of developing its actions in the field of social responsibilities and expanding the crucial matter of education and training, and built this high school with a credit amounting to 500 billion Rials, which its operational acts was ended in 2023.
The result of this benevolent work has been the removal of deprivation and the expansion of educational justice in Hormozgan province.
This educational complex, which was put into operation today with the presence of the Minister of Education on behalf of Ayatollah Ebrahim Raisi, as the largest and most equipped high school in Hormozgan province, has a composite view of the traditional architecture of the southern region and the modern one today and pleases the eyes of the viewers.
The Aftab High School has been built with the capacity to accommodate a thousand students on three floors with an area of 6,000 square meters and has facilities such as twenty-four smart classrooms, two equipped laboratories, a prayer hall, an indoor sports hall, an artificial grass field, etc.
Among the honors of this high school in the past, we can mention the gathering of Hormozgan revolutionaries at the beginning of the revolution and the sending of warriors and dedication of many martyrs in the holy defense, as well as training a large number of current managers of Hormozgan province and other famous personalities.
